Our Story
Forme ArtHaus began the way most meaningful things do — not with a plan, but with a shared feeling. In 2025, a small circle of painters working in abstract and impressionist traditions found one another in San Diego. What united them was not a singular style, but a sensibility: the conviction that art born from emotion, color, and instinct speaks a language anyone can feel.

What began as informal studio visits and critiques over coffee slowly took shape. Conversations stretched past sunset. Ideas sharpened. Trust formed. What emerged was not an institution, but a living community — artists who had been working independently realizing they were part of something larger. From that spirit, Forme ArtHaus was established as a curated art space.
The name carries a tension we embrace: forme — the French word for form — alongside arthaus, a space that resists formula. We are rooted in tradition, yet restless within it. Structure and spontaneity. Discipline and instinct.

As a curated space, our role is intentional. We present work that reflects a distinct point of view — paintings that honor abstraction and impressionism not as historical references, but as living, evolving practices. Each artist represented here contributes to an ongoing dialogue shaped by emotional immediacy. A global sensibility shapes the collection — atmosphere is not depicted, but embodied within the work.
